Security Attributes Based Digital Rights Management

    Get PDF
Most real-life systems delegate responsibilities to different authorities. We apply this model to a digital rights management system, to achieve flexible security. In our model a hierarchy of authorities issues certificates that are linked by cryptographic means. This linkage establishes a chain of control, identity-attribute-rights, and allows flexible rights control over content. Typical security objectives, such as identification, authentication, authorization and access control can be realised. Content keys are personalised to detect illegal super distribution. We describe a working prototype, which we develop using standard techniques, such as standard certificates, XML and Java. We present experimental results to evaluate the scalability of the system. A formal analysis demonstrates that our design is able to detect a form of illegal super distribution

Embodied cognition as an inclusive approach for special educational needs

“There was a time when mental meant nonphysical, but we are past that belief. Mental processes and states are physical products of the brain. "(Le Doux, 2015, p.170). The time has come to rethink education in the light of new scientific discoveries. The proposal for an approach to an inclusive ECS-based didactics doesn’t want to be final or prescriptive, and probably it cannot even be defined as a real approach. Our attempt is to systematize some interdisciplinary contributions in order to provide insights for the planning of more effective training courses, able to facilitate learning and participation processes in all students. The ECS approach is in line with the existing models and theories of development and learning, based on a complex psychodynamic and neuroscientific anthropology, which identifies the construct of neurodiversity and casts an eyes over the Special Educational Needs

COURSES 0-6 YEARS: OBSERVATION AND PLANNING. THE IMPORTANCE OF THE REALIZATION OF AN INTEGRATED INSTRUMENT

This work constitutes the presentation of a tool to support educators and teachers, of the educational path 0-6, by building an in-depth knowledge of their students through observation, which allows to detect useful data so that teaching practices can be improved and so that they create functional and inclusive, high-class programs that take into account the specificities of individual children. The tool was born as a response to the guidelines drawn up in a global way by the institutions. The creation of the integrated system of education and instruction 0-6 years has brought back to the centre of national attention the issue of the right to education of children (UN Convention on the rights of the child of 1989, ratified in Italy with the law 27/05 / 1991, n. 176; growing EU interest in Early childhood education and care with the "forty quality objectives" of childcare services -1996-, with studies to analyse the contribution of childcare services to cognitive development and socio-emotional nature of children, with a European framework for the quality of educational and care services for children -2012-)

A taxonomic note concerning a dicynodont (Synapsida: Anomodontia) from the Middle Triassic of East Africa

Main articleThe complicated histories of the Indian dicynodont Rechnisaurus and the East African dicynodont Kannemeyeria cristarhynchus has led to the incorrect use of the name ‘cristarhynchus’ for the latter taxon. This paper therefore proposes a new species name and diagnosis. The National Research Foundation and University Research Committee of the University of the Witwatersran
